Howard graduated as a top student of CIT Podiatry, Wellington, and brings 15 years of experience to the team. He specializes in sports injuries, biomechanics and orthotic manufacture, and has an area of interest in Post-surgical orthoses and children's gait problems
Joanne McKay Dip. Phys.
Joanne graduated in 1990, as the Top Student in her class, at The Otago School of Physiotherapy. Since then she has treated thousands of patients, with hundreds of different injuries, aches and pains. In New Zealand she has worked with All Blacks, Tall Blacks, Hurricanes, and Black Sticks. As well as international athletes, she has worked with the young and elderly, helping them to find the right path to full fitness.
After a successful period working in the USA and then Wellington, Joanne returned to Christchurch and established In Touch Physiotherapy in 1998.
Joanne has a special interest in Manual Physiotherapy and acupuncture.
Joanne is experienced in specialised areas of physiotherapy, sports injuries, massage, and sports science. This combination of skills allows us to offer our patients the best possible care and treatment for their specific injuries, recovery and management.
